2026 Subaru Outback Wilderness: Versatility Meets Refined Capability

Finding a vehicle that effortlessly balances weekday family duties with weekend outdoor escapes requires thoughtful engineering. The 2026 Subaru Outback Wilderness is built specifically for drivers who demand dependable all-weather capability, expansive passenger comfort, and long-term peace of mind. Whether you are navigating daily carpools through Westside Connection or loading up gear for a camping trip across Michigan, this crossover delivers a confident and comfortable ride. Outfitted with premium Nappa leather upholstery in Slate Black and finished in striking Magnetite Gray Metallic, it provides the ideal blend of rugged utility and sophisticated design for your growing family or active lifestyle.

      Engineered Performance & All-Weather Capability

Under the hood, the 2026 Subaru Outback Wilderness features a responsive 2.4L H-4 direct injection, DOHC, variable valve control, intercooled turbo engine generating 260HP. Paired with an 8-speed Lineartronic CVT with sequential shift control and steering wheel paddle shifters, power delivery remains smooth whether merging onto busy highways or cruising open roads. Standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and an advanced dual-function X-MODE system work in harmony with off-road suspension tuning and an underbody skid plate to provide exceptional stability across snow, mud, and gravel. Commuters traveling from rural areas like Alto will appreciate the confident traction during unpredictable seasonal weather, alongside efficient fuel economy ratings of 21 MPG city and 27 MPG highway. Front and rear ventilated disc brakes, hill descent control, and a full-size spare tire on a matching black aluminum wheel ensure you are prepared for whatever lies ahead.

      Advanced Technology & Interior Comfort

Inside the cabin, intuitive control meets high-end entertainment. The dashboard features a primary 12.1-inch multimedia touchscreen alongside a clear 12.3-inch gauge cluster display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration allow seamless smartphone access, while the integrated MySubaru Navigator provides reliable route guidance. Audio is elevated by a 576W amplifier powering a premium 12-speaker harman/kardon sound system. Front occupants enjoy heated and ventilated Nappa leather bucket seats with 8-way power adjustability, while rear passengers benefit from heated seating and dedicated climate control vents. For extra convenience and peace of mind on long trips, you can explore pet-friendly Subaru accessories to keep your four-legged companions comfortable. Driver-assist technologies include the EyeSight system with Lane Keep Assist, Pre-Collision Braking, DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System, and a 360-degree Surround View Monitor aerial view camera.
