What's New on the 2025 Subaru BRZ?
Now, all 2025 Subaru BRZ models come with Sport Mode, which was only found on those equipped with automatic transmission. This allows those who'd like to drive the manual transmission model the chance to experience a sharpened throttle response. There are also new material updates inside the BRZ Limited with red leather accents enhancing the overall drive.
Performance
The Subaru BRZ uses a 2.4-liter engine with 228 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. It's a rear-wheel drive option, the only Subaru of its kind to be anything other than an all-wheel drive choice, and it's paired with a six-speed manual, or six-speed automatic transmission. It has standout cornering, and offers a standard limited-slip rear differential, along with 17- or 18-inch wheel options.
In terms of fuel economy, t can reach up to 21 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway with automatic transmission options.
Technology and Safety
Inside the sporty 2+2 seating configuration, you'll find an aesthetic that matches the vehicle's build, plus you can find lots of technology onboard. That includes an eight-inch touch display, with physical knobs to tune volume and more, plus there's standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration onboard to enjoy smartphone integration too.
The 2025 Subaru BRZ also has many driver assistance safety features, which include forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking along with lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist standard, plus available adaptive cruise control.

There are three different Subaru BRZ options, each providing something unique while offers a quality riding experience throughout Grand Rapids.
