2025 Subaru Outback Onyx Edition: Versatile Capability for Every Adventure

The 2025 Subaru Outback Onyx Edition brings together rugged capability, modern refined style, and everyday functionality. Dressed in striking Magnetite Gray Metallic, this factory certified crossover is built to handle weekday commutes around Westside Connection as effortlessly as weekend getaways to your favorite trailheads. Whether you are transporting active family gear or taking on unpredictable Michigan weather, this Outback delivers long-term dependability and peace of mind. As you browse our new Subaru selection, you will quickly see why drivers return to us for supportive, lifetime-focused care.

    Performance & Capability

Under the hood, the 2025 Subaru Outback Onyx Edition features a 2.5L H-4 direct injection, DOHC, variable valve control, regular gasoline engine with 182HP paired with a smooth CVT Lineartronic transmission. Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive works continuously to balance power between all four wheels, ensuring exceptional grip across slick morning pavement or dirt backroads. When conditions demand extra traction, the dual-function X-MODE driver selectable drivetrain mode adjusts engine response and torque distribution to navigate deep snow, ice, or mud with confidence. Hill descent control helps manage steep downslopes safely without compromising stability. Beyond its all-weather prowess, this powertrain achieves an EPA-estimated 26 city and 32 highway MPG on regular gasoline, making long road trips economical and enjoyable. Independent front strut and rear double wishbone suspension setups absorb rough road imperfections, maintaining a composed ride whether cruising on the highway or exploring off the beaten path.

    Technology & Connectivity

Inside the quiet cabin, modern convenience takes center stage around the primary 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus touchscreen interface. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration allow seamless smartphone mirroring, keeping your favorite navigation apps, messaging, and playlists within easy reach. The 12-speaker harman/kardon audio system with a 576W amplifier fills the interior with rich sound quality, while 5 USB ports ensure everyone stays powered up. Handsfree Bluetooth connectivity and steering wheel mounted audio controls let you manage calls and media adjustments without taking your focus off the road ahead. Safety features like EyeSight Pre-Collision Braking, Lane Keep Assist, and Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control enhance driver confidence on every journey. If you plan to travel with pets or heavy outdoor gear, explore our pet friendly vehicle accessories to keep your interior protected.
