After a big redesign for the 2024 model year, the 2025 option carries on with some slight updates. It has a wider range of standard features on its vehicles, which means more connective technology and driver safety, along with options that include choices like roof crossbars for those who like adventure, plus many different colors to find the one that uniquely addresses your style along with your driving needs.
Performance
The Impreza uses a 2.0-liter flat-four engine which gives you 152 horsepower. The new Subaru Impreza RS trim has a more powerful 182-horsepower engine. Each offers a continuously variable transmission and provides standout efficiency, getting you up to 27 miles per gallon in the city and 34 miles per gallon on the highway with standard engines, while the RS edition hits 26 miles per gallon in the city and 33 miles per gallon on the highway.
Interior
With seating for five, there's a pragmatic interior with everything within reach as you have hard buttons for the touch display, while also finding space behind the seating area as there's 20.4 cubic feet of room in the back, and up to 56 cubic feet when you fold down the rear seats, which is plenty generous.
Technology and Safety
A seven-inch touch display is standard on base models, while others can find an 11.6-inch touch display that has buttons for infotainment system control and climate control. You'll be able to connect via Subaru STARLINK®, which provides you with everything from a remote vehicle locator, Wi-Fi options, and more. There's also an auxiliary input jack, USB-C, and USB-A port to connect, along with a 10-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system on the likes of the Impreza RS.
As for safety, there is the Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology standard, which includes a host of features designed to keep you safe, like forward collision warning and lane-departure warning. There's also standard adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, available blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency steering.
