Zane Gorby - Caledonia Wrestling
This week's Fox Motors Prep Athlete of the Week is Caledonia senior wrestler Zane Gorby. A three-sport student athlete at Caledonia High School, Zane excels on the football field, wrestling mat and throwing the shot put for the Fighting Scots boys track team. Zane's main sport, however, is wrestling, where he is a three-year captain and state qualifier with over 150 wins to his credit and 100 career pins. Currently, he is (44-0) this season and just claimed an individual district championship along with helping Caledonia win the East Kentwood team district title. Zane volunteers to ref youth events and also helps the Caledonia youth wrestling program by coaching the younger kids during the season. Zane will serve his country after graduating in the United States Marines. Congratulations to Zane on being named this week's Fox Motors Prep Athlete of the Week!
