Megan Belke - East Grand Rapids Basketball
This week's Fox Motors Prep Athlete of the Week is East Grand Rapids senior Megan Belke. A captain on the EGR girls basketball team, Megan had to sit out the first half of the season after transferring back to East Grand Rapids from Catholic Central at the end of last year. Megan is a Class B all-state and Grand Rapids Press Dream Team player last year for Catholic Central and this season, Megan is averaging 24 points and 13 rebounds per game for the Pioneers. A 3.0 student who loves to be involved with her school and the community, Megan is a member of the Be Nice club, coaches Little Hoopers basketball and volunteers at Bethany Christian Services as well as with the Fifth Third River Bank Run.
