Peyton Helsen - Coopersville Girls Volleyball
Peyton Helsen - This week for the Fox Motors Athlete of the Week we honor Coopersville senior volleyball player Peyton Helsen. The Broncos are having an historic season this year with a school-record 39 wins, and this past weekend they captured their first-ever regional championship led by team captain - Peyton Helsen. Peyton is an all-conference and all-region performer who just set a new school mark for kills in one season with 474 and counting. A 3.57 student in the classroom, Peyton also is a member of the Coopersville National Honor Society, Be Nice, the Diversity Club, and St. Mike's youth group at her church. When she is not playing volleyball or concentrating on her studies, Peyton loves to spend time with special needs kids at different community events. Fox Motors and ESPN 96.1 would like to congratulate Peyton Helsen on being named this week's Fox Motors Prep Athlete of the Week.
