This week for the Fox Motors Prep Athlete of the Week we salute Caledonia sophomore swimmer Sidney Schering. A 2-time all-conference performer and state qualifier for the Caledonia/Byron Center/South Christian swimming team, Sidney has also excelled in USA Club Swim at the state and sectional levels. Her dedication and passion for athletics and academics has pushed Sidney to compete and letter on the Caledonia track team and take advanced classes where she currently maintains a 4.0 grade point average. In the summer, Sidney also takes on tending the grounds and regular upkeep for a home association as well as a prominent building company in Grand Rapids. Congratulations to Sidney on being named this week's Fox Motors Prep Athlete of the Week!
